This module has capability of assessing the integrity of pipelines based on the concept of “Fitness for Service” (FFS) in short. The main focus of the assessments will be on corrosion metal loss (uniform, local and pitting) detected by in-line inspection and based on the concept of DNVGL-RP-F101, parts A and B, Kastner and ASME B 31G (modified).
Both deterministic and probabilistic approaches are covered in the module.
In combination with Spectrum – Corrosion module, rate of corrosion is calculated and used to calculate the remaining life of the pipeline.
