Personal Experience
Amit Prasad has approximately 23 years’ experience in the oil and gas pipeline industry and has substantial experience in flow assurance, mechanical design and project management of onshore and subsea petroleum and natural gas pipelines. He has a broad experience in pipeline engineering and has worked with national oil operator such as Indian Oil Corporation Limited in their Pipelines Division head office, Noida, India. He has also worked with EPIC contractors such as Saipem UK, Subsea7 UK, Leighton Wellspun India, and leading pipeline consultants such as Xodus Group UK and KW UK. He spearheaded the development of Spectrum Pipelines Software package for design and integrity of oil and gas pipelines.
He has a Bachelor of Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India and has an MBA from Kingston University, London with specialization in Strategic Project Management and Corporate Finance and with his research on Energy Security for India.
Amit is a Chartered Engineer with Institution of Mechanical Engineers, UK and is registered with the Engineering Council of the UK.
He has a vision to enable companies and oil and gas professionals worldwide by making pipeline design softwares available under one umbrella called Spectrum Pipelines at a reasonable price.
